Under general supervision, stocks all bars with needed supplies and ensures the cleanliness of bar areas.
Deliver internal and external guest service the Pinnacle Way by ensuring every interaction includes our Six Core Service Standards (Look Sharp, smile & greet the guest. Be friendly, polite & use courteous language. Provide especially timely & knowledgeable service; and then some! Always find solutions to guests’ problems. Use the guest’s name when appropriate. Thank the guest and invite him or her back.).
Maintain the beverage stock in beverage supply room.
Stock all bars and beverage stations with supplies.
Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer. Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
Accurately account for and collect payment for all drink orders through MICROS system.
Attempt to limit problems related to guests’ excessive drinking by providing responsible alcohol service.
Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
Clean bars, work areas and tables. Order or requisition liquor and supplies.
These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 2-years experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.
