General maintenance and repairs to all EGD’s and related gaming equipment. Perform their duties in accordance with the established policies and procedures in the pursuit of the company goals and philosophy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Safeguard the company's assets under their control
Ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to maintain company safety standards
Repair of EGD’s and gaming related equipment
Perform general maintenance as assigned or in accordance with existing procedures
Installation, movement, denomination, and game change of EGD’s as directed by management
Perform predetermined tests and checks on EGD’s to establish causes for identified problems as reported by management or Slot personnel, i.e. excessive hopper fills, etc.
Perform all duties in accordance with Louisiana Gaming regulations
Support and maintain Casino Magic courtesy guidelines
Promote outstanding guest relations
Maintains systems to ensure Slot accounting is accurate
Perform other duties as assigned
Fill in during absence of Lead Slot Technician
ADDITIONAL DUTIES/JOB DIMENSIONS:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards which may be established by the Casino Magic from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Knowledge of slots and related gaming equipment preferred
Knowledge of computers programs used in the office environment
Ability to work in a drug free environment and pass a chemical dependency test as required
