The purpose of this position is to maintain, prepare and operate all technical lighting equipment for all Meadows entertainment venues.


  • Implements all aspects of Entertainment Technical Production.
  • Implements all technical production required by Talent.
  • Recommends all purchases related to technical production.
  • Works with vendors that provide rental and service needs relating to entertainment production.
  • Consults with Entertainment Staff to obtain highest quality talent and entertainment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot any malfunctioning entertainment production equipment and recommend any repair or replacement needs.
  • Extensive knowledge of all technical production categories, including but not limited to: audio, lighting, staging, rigging and video.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety practices as related to the entertainment industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems as related to the entertainment industry.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Ability to do simple math.
  • Knowledge of events and event set-up.
  • Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.


  • Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in unusually hot and noisy environments.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull a minimum of 60 pounds.
  • Normal vision and hearing range, absence of color blindness.
  • Ability to distinguish letters, symbols and numbers.
  • Requires extreme flexibility in working hours.
