The Meadows Racetrack & Casino is seeking a passionate and driven administrative professional to support the Talent Acquisition function. The Talent Recruiter will assit with effectively sourcing, recruiting and interviewing candidates for the property, while delivering excellent guest service, and creating magical and memorable moments.


  • Assist with sourcing and recruitment cycle for assigned searches.
  • Establish strong relationships with hiring managers to influence decisions in the hiring process.
  • Be selective in the interviewing process. Use behavioral interviewing questions to determine that applicants are top talent and have the experience, passion and desire to work for the property.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable national, state, and local employee relations regulations and laws on an optimal cost basis.
  • Participate in process improvement within Human Resources and in particular the Talent attraction/retention process.
  • Assist the Talent Business Partner on Service Center related project teams to implement best practices and programs.
  • Maintain metrics and create reports around openings and hires to obtain important data that will enhance our hiring practices.
  • Participate in other aspects of the Human Resources functions as needed based on department and business priorities.
  • Conduct oneself with a high level of professionalism in appearance, demeanor, ethics and self-image both personally and for other team members.
  • Ensure candidates meet the Pinnacle Appearance standards, i.e. hair, tattoos, piercings, clothing, etc. and manage accordingly.


  • Bachelor’s Degree and one to two years of experience as a human resource coordinator or generalist.  Other experience with extensive hiring responsibility will be considered.
  • Extensive knowledge of State and Federal Employment regulations.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment or other consumer-driven service business is highly preferred; experience in a 24/7 environment, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills are necessary in order to build relationships with key operators throughout the company.
  • Must demonstrate comfort working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solution
  • Must posess a skill in influencing key stakeholders in regards to hiring.
  • Must have a great sense of business acumen and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to manage a high-volume workload and work hard to get the job done
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive approach in dealing creatively with employment issues.
  • High degree of organizational and time management skills.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
