  • Overview

    Oversees shift operations of the Promotions and Sales Department with focuses on Players Club, Retail Marketing, and PBX, Special and General Events and personnel, hereafter referred to as the “department”.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Works with all departments on promotional and sales strategies, offers and other revenue impacting marketing efforts.
    • Oversees Day to Day Operations of all departments within the Department.
    • Proactively communicate via documented means between shifts and departments with necessary personnel and management, regarding customer complaints/feedback, merchandise status and any other information that will impact operations.
    • Verify, audit and track any reports or logs used for events and promotions issued out of the Department
    • Assist in managing the maintenance and merchandising of the Department.
    • Promote specials and assist customers with any questions and exhibit accommodating customer service at all times
    • Supports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions.
    • Identifies ways to increase efficiencies or improve product or service.
    • Updates reports as requested.
    • Ability to work flexible schedule, weekends, nights, holidays and with little to no notice to accommodate department and guest needs.
    • Assist the Promotions & Sales Manager with personnel management of the Department.
    • All other duties as prescribed by management.
    • Recruit, Train, Evaluate, Coach and Develop departmental team members.
    • Assists in execution of all aspects of Slot Tournaments.
    • Participates in Marketing Related and other meetings as needed.
    • Sets up all system related promotional and marketing programs, drawings, promotions, and other in Marketing Related Systems to include but not limited to IGT’s Patron Management.
    • Reviews and approves all department related materials and collateral.
    • Assists or manages in-processing of all groups.
    • Ability to manage impress drawers and protect company assets
    • Assist in planning and administrative coordination and execution of all departmental operations.
    • Evaluate and recommend changes, enhancements and other development opportunities
    • Assists in proofing and evaluating rules, documentation and collateral as it applies to Marketing Related Projects.
    • Authorizes Comp, FreePlay, Point and other adjustments to accounts.
    • Ensures all company policies and procedures along with PGCB Regulations and other governing and managing policies are recognized and adhered to by self, coworkers and the company.
    • Reports violations of company policies and procedures as well as PGCB Regulations by self, other and company to appropriate individuals.
    • Recognizes and reports opportunities to secure company assets.

     

    Qualifications

    • Must be highly organized and provide timely information and recommendations.
    • Ability to consistently meet deadline.
    • Ability to manage relations with internal and external resources
    • Action oriented; pursues work with energy, drive and desire to complete tasks in a timely and positive impacting manner.
    • Set priorities and manage multiple tasks and projects.

    • Support front of house promotional execution; maintain flexible hours per business needs.
    • Have skill set to handle complex matters and work autonomously with little supervision.
    • Maintain outgoing and enthusiastic personality to articulate programs to customers.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in operation of personal computer equipment.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret computer screens and player tracking.
    • Ability to effectively present information clearly and describe casino programs and promotions to customers.
    • Proficiency in basic mathematical skills.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Experience of three to five years in the gaming industry.
    • At least one year managerial or supervisory experience in Casino Marketing.
    • Must posses excellent communication skills, particularly those skills needed to resolve complaints from dissatisfied customers.
    • High school graduate or general education degree (GED).
    • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work well as an inspirational team leader.
    • Must be able to respond calmly in crisis and demanding situations, particularly when situations involve customers or employee conflicts.
    • Must be able to manage multiple objectives and tasks simultaneously, and assess and reset priorities.
