To assure all customers are courteously served with their purchases in a clean and attractive environment.


  • Properly record all transactions in the Point-of-Sale system
  • Accurately handle all cash, checks, credit card, gift certificates and comp transactions
  • Maintain on a daily basis a high level of cleanliness in the gift shop
  • Unpack, stock and price all merchandise in the shop as needed with the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
  • Assist in stocking and recording stock for all vending machines
  • Straighten, dust, and organize Gift Shop when there are no guests in the Gift Shop
  • Greet guests at the entrance to the Gift Shop to encourage them to come in and look around when there are no other duties to perform
  • Responsible for knowing all new policies and procedures in the Gift Shop
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures for the Gift Shop
  • Complete physical inventory each month requiring lifting, counting and using a stepladder
  • Merchandise products and new arrivals
  • Repack merchandise as seasons change, accurately recording merchandise as it is packed


  • Strong problem solving, decision making and consulting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
