Position is responsible for daily purchasing of products and services for property. 


  • Orders products and services in a timely manner
  • Maintain electronic tracking and manual files of all purchase orders
  • Assist with development and administration of purchasing policies and procedures
  • Purchase goods and services on the basis of “best value” as required
  • Award purchase orders, blanket purchase orders, contracts and price agreements per procedures, for items/areas assigned.
  • Monitor the timely follow up on orders
  • Resolve invoice and specifications discrepancies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Any other assigned duties and responsibilities


  • Must be highly organized and provide timely information.
  • Ability to manage relations with internal and external resources (i.e. vendors).
  • Ability to be flexible in work hours
  • Is action oriented; pursues work with energy, drive and a need to finish.
  • Sets priorities and manages multiple tasks and projects.
  • Maintains composure in busy times and effectively uses down time.
  • Works well in a team setting. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operation of personal computer equipment with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Eatec Purchasing system is an advantage but not required.
  • Ability to effectively present information clearly.
  • Knowledge of PGCB policies and procedures
  • Regular, predictable attendance required
