Under direction, conducts investigations of any element or agent who violates the safety or security of our guests, team members, or company assets. Also oversees all Security Team Members per shift with assistance in any situation, guidance, scheduling, coaching, and any other duties as needed.


  • Supervises, plans and schedules security activities for the Security supervisors as directed by management.
  • Conducts follow-up investigations on reports as directed.
  • Investigates team member fraud against the property, i.e., theft of cash, equipment, food, property, unauthorized comps, etc.
  • Investigates team member fraud against the guest, i.e., thefts, short changes, etc.
  • Investigates false accident reports.
  • Maintains a working relationship with the investigation units of the local law enforcement agencies for criminal history checks, DMV checks, etc.
  • Conducts sensitive investigations at the instruction of the Director of Security, Director of Internal Audit, or Vice President and General Manager. (or as requested)
  • May act as a Relief Security Supervisor, as needed with the same supervisory duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours


  • Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of applicable federal, state, and local laws as they pertain to gaming.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of four (4) years experience in casino security or the law enforcement field.
  • Must not have been convicted of any crime for which registration is required.
  • At least one (1) year experience in supervision.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, organize work, and to train Security Officers in the performance of their duties.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
