Property Details

The facility features six food & beverage outlets, 1,500 Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), and maintains the only turf track in Ohio. This is a regional position working with the Social Media Manager and Director of Social Media to ensure social media strategy is being executed for Belterra Casino Resort and Belterra Park on a daily basis. This person will also interface with property marketing teams to ensure compelling content is produced daily and in alignment with property marketing and brand initiatives. This person is also responsible for executing guest service via online reputation management channels.


  • Plan, develop, create and execute comprehensive social media strategy for both properties. Work with direct manager and property marketing to explore and identify opportunities to integrate social media into business, marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Closely monitor and manage the online reputation of casino, hotel, dining outlets and entertainment venues across the web including channels like Yelp, Trip Advisor, Expedia, etc. Provide timely guest service through all digital touchpoints.
  • Communicate and execute company-wide social media standards, policies and rules of engagement for team members and for online guest-facing communities. Responsible for knowledge of all guidelines for all pertinent social channels and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of functionality for those relevant social media channels.
  • Understand key performance indicators and goals including measurable metrics for all social channels. Deliver analytics and reporting for all responsible social channels to responsible property leaders as required. Monitor competitors and industry leaders’ marketing and social media efforts.
  • Create compelling social media ready content for all channels. Develop and recommend schedules for social media content deployment and execute upon approval.
  • Work closely with all marketing and public relations areas both at the Las Vegas Service Center and at the properties. This includes the central design center to ensure there is cohesion among all marketing creative and their Social Media extensions. Additionally will work with regional public relations personnel to assist and implement in PR campaigns as designed.
  • Works with social media leaders and digital marketing team to plan, create and execute cohesive marketing campaigns that bridge between web, mobile, SMS, etc. and social media channels.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Familiarity with shooting and editing digital photography and videography.


  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations.
  • Two years of experience in company directed social media.
  • One or more years of casino experience desired.
  • Experience with social media listening and reporting platforms desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Adobe products.
  • Ability to capture and edit photographs and video.
  • Proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in spelling and grammar.
  • Demonstrated writing skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, meet deadlines and maintain details.
  • Ability to think critically and act quickly.
