Overview

To provide excellent guest service, safeguard company funds, maintain an
accurate account of cash window impress totals. Maintain orderly paperwork.
Provide sales and redemption services for both internal and external guests.
Maintain a high level of guest service in all duties performed.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to the guest service requirement listed above
  • Adhere to the core value requirement listed above
  • Adhere to department and property policies and procedures
  • Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards
  • This is a uniformed position, which requires that team members are in compliance with unformed appearance standards while on duty
  • Redeem gaming instruments, cash checks, and supply information to guests
  • Assure the security of company funds; provide accurate and courteous guest service
  • Maintain and assure the proper routing of the department’s paperwork.
  • Balance the window impress total, sell checks and gaming instruments to the main cashier.
  • Provide an outlet of sales and redemption of chips for internal and external guests (ex. main bank, fill bank and jackpot/fill window)
  • Maintain a neat, safe and organized work area
  • Ensures cage compliance with federal currency reporting regulations
  • Issues counter checks, accepts payment on counter checks

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate, understand and write English
  • Ability to work with interruptions
  • Excellent math skills are required
  • Must have ten-key (calculator) skills
  • Must have good communication and guest service skills
  • Data entry/computer skills are required
  • Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of questionable association.
  • Must be prepared to work over-time, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.             
  • High School diploma required
  • Some college classes or degree preferred
  • Previous casino Cage or cash handling experience preferred
