The Media Technology Specialist will support, develop and implement a variety of audio, video, lighting, digital signage and other related projects. The duties include exercising judgement and discretion in the development of projects, formulating recommendations, as well as implementing solutions with minimal guidance. This primary focus of the position develops, manages, monitors, supports and occasionally installs the following. Guest room technologies, video matrix systems, network infrastructure, conference room technology, background music & paging as well as digital signage systems hardware and software. (Microsoft Windows and IP network based). Under the direction of the Director of Media Technology, this position will be required to coordinate with corporate and property teams, as well as vendors to develop, implement and support a variety of new and existing AV systems.

  • Technical Support (investigate and resolve AV software and technologies issues as a level 2, remote support)
  • Development (project budgets, SOW, bidding, policies and procedures.)
  • Project Management (scheduling, tracking, general invoice routing, procurement)
  • Travel (as required, assisting installations and upgrades of Audio, Video, Lighting and Digital Signage solutions.)
  • Capacity to work productively with minimal daily supervision.



Approximately 15 - 25 %



(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

  • 5+ years of experience in AV/IT related.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital signage and video distribution desired.
  • 2+ years of experience in Background Music & Paging Systems, in and outside desired.
  • Technical knowledge of computer systems and networks.
  • Excellent technical, complex problem solving, interpersonal, oral & written communication skills
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Office, with emphasis in Excel and Project related software.
  • Demonstrable knowledge in digital content processes, distribution, and matrix technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to effectively collaborate with all professional levels, across departments and properties.
  • Experience in training staff, peers and management, in the arena of AV systems and digital signage related software.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation.
  • College degree in a related field is desired.
  • Crestron, BSS, Peavey or related experience is desired.
  • Casino industry experience desired.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions

Must successfully pass background check

Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

Must be 21 years of age
