Overview

Provides compliment of hosting administrative assistance for VIP players including coordinating, booking, costing and follow-up reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Required to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License.
  • Required to have the Pennsylvania Gaming License on at all times while at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino.
  • Updates the player club’s database with interest codes VIP hobbies, correct address, phone number, email address, marketing preferences
  • Functions as player/guest ambassador by assisting in every way possible for the VIP players
  • Books transportation, lodging and event bookings for VIP players, while maintaining usage database
  • Receives players during special event functioning as the receiving and check-in hostess
  • Assist in all operations during special events
  • Provides problem solving and maintains a positive and upbeat attitude with employees and guests
  • Provides co-ordination with all other relating departments to accomplish objectives. Works in conjunction with all staff members to enhance guest service and overall image of the Casino
  • Prepare emails, agendas, and briefing for various departments regarding special events and promotions
  • Assist in maintaining and updating special events calendar
  • Prepare all materials for VIP tournaments
  • Prepare all materials for special events
  • Provides telemarketing, administrative skills
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and skill requirements:

  • Has working knowledge of policy and procedures and PGCB MICS.
  • Must be able to work a wide variety of schedules and hours
  • Must have reliable and consistent transportation for all shifts
  • Work independently on given tasks with minimal supervision
  • Interact confidently with a variety of guests, employees, vendors, management, etc.
  • Write and speak clearly in a creative, descriptive, technical, and/or factual manner
  • Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Respond to sensitive matters and/or situations with discretion, tact, and confidentiality
  • Assist in coordinating complex projects and meet deadlines
  • Utilize standard business and desktop software
  • Respond to new demands and situations quickly and flexibly
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or commensurate experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a PGCB gaming license level 2 (G-2)
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

               Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs when required.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate verbally.
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers
  • Ability to work in a loud or noisy, smoke filled environment.
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distant vision, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work in a typical casino environment.
