Overview

The Treasury Analyst conducts one or more major cash management activities. Responsibilities of the position include treasury operations, bank relationship management, stock option program, purchase card program, and analysis for cash and treasury operations.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include:

  1. Daily Cash Position
    • Creates on a daily basis a spreadsheet of bank balances, cash movement, and cash variances across Pinnacle’s properties.
    • Resolves various cash issues such as deposits not matching records and late deposits in a timely manner by working with appropriate party (customer, vendor, bank, property, etc.).
    • Processes daily corporate wire transfers by creating the internal forms, obtaining appropriate signatures, and initiating the wire.
  2.  Cash Forecasting & Monthly Reconciliations
    • Maintains and updates company’s next day, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cash forecast model.
    • Prepares notifications for borrowing and repayment activities.
    • Provides data for monthly journal entries relating to cash management activity.
  3.  Vendor Management
    • Administers user access for bank software program to ensure appropriate access to various products.
    • Maintains accounts across bank providers, including drafting letters, completing forms, and interacting with bank representatives.
    • Performs monthly assessment of bank fees, identifying variances and potential cost savings. 
  4.  Stock Plan Administration
    • Assists with the management of the employee stock option plan which includes uploading of grants, ensuring data accuracy, and working with various departments to obtain information related to the stock option program.
    • Performs month-end treasury reporting of stock plan schedules.
  5. Purchase Card Administration
    • Assists with the management of purchase card program, including ongoing administration.
    • Performs monthly audits of purchase cards, summarizes findings, and interacts with card holders to improve the program.
  6.  Other Treasury Activities
    • Assists in the execution of ad-hoc treasury projects, as needed. 
    • Maintains Treasury share drive, sharepoint, and other Treasury record keeping.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work day for the position starts no later than 7am
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel. Knowledge of MS Word and Power Point 
  • Basic accounting proficiency, including reading financial statements and an understanding of debits, credits and the general ledger system
  • Strong quantitative and communications skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to research, analyze, comprehend, and act upon information and be aware of the business environment.
  • Highly organized, able to simultaneously work on multiple projects to completion, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of cash management products, gaming industry, and Wells Fargo CEO preferred
  • Treasury, Finance, Banking, and/or Accounts Payable experience is viewed as a plus
  • These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. 

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

Possession of, and ability to obtain and maintain a valid drivers and gaming license within assigned state of employment and other jurisdictions

Must successfully pass background check

Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening

Must be 21 years of age
