Under general supervision, break down, clean and sanitize restaurant outlets, equipment and drains, and in observance of all Health department regulations as well as the companies Standards and SOP's.


  • Follows and maintains department objectives, Standard Operational Procedures (SOP’s), and guidelines to ensure proper operation of department.

  • Clean stoves, grills, ovens, walls, hoods and other kitchen equipment.

  • Clean floor drains and grease traps.

  • Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup/receptacle areas. Clean garbage cans with water or steam.

  • Clean, mop and sweep entire kitchen area.

  • Empty grease barrels and trays.

  • Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provide cooks with needed items.

  • Observes Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, proper temperature, and cleanliness of work environment. 


  • Must be at least 18 years of age


These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 6 months experience directly related to the accountabilities specified or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
