Overview

To hang coats of our guests and issue claim tickets as well.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for checking overcoats, bags, umbrellas and/or other articles of wearing apparel for temporary safekeeping.
  • Responsible for maintaining check system and delivery of proper garments in exchange for claim checks.
  • Responsible for promoting positive guest relations.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and fluctuating days off.

Qualifications

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance, mature attitude, and working knowledge of the area.
  • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in coat room operations preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
