Pinnacle Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled and passionate professional to join us in our mission to become the Best Casino Entertainment Company in the World through the delivery of high impact, business aligned Learning & Development Solutions. Reporting directly to the Learning & Development Business Partner, the Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist will facilitate programs aimed at team member productivity and development, as well as provide coaching and feedback to enhance individual performance and maximize service excellence. The L&D Specialist will also participate in the development of organizational learning & development programs, support “on-the-job trainers” with applying best practices and ensure the seamless delivery and tracking of programs through learning management system administration.     


  • Hands-on professional with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively facilitate Learning & Development Programs.
  • Well-versed in Learning & Development best practices.
  • Experience with providing effective, engaging coaching and feedback for a diverse workforce; experience supervising others preferred.
  • Superior computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a sense of urgency in exceeding goals.
  • Experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment or other consumer-driven service business is highly preferred.
  • L&D certifications and/or affiliations a plus.


  • The capabilities necessary to perform the job are typically acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1-2 years of experience in the Learning & Development field or an equivalent combination of training, education and professional experience.
