Responsibilities

  • Prepare all food items timely and accurately according to standard recipes and menu to ensure consistency of products to the guests. 
  • In an open kitchen, guest interaction is a must. Engage the guest by explaining product, asking questions and building positive relationships. 
  • Complete all assigned prep items as written on prep sheet. 
  • Full commitment to excellence and focus to provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times. 
  • Preps, sets up and works exhibition pasta and pizza station. 
  • Perform all duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work all stations is required (sauté, grill, pantry, egg, prep, pizza and griddle)
  • Ability to prep and cook everything from scratch, while following established recipes and plating specs is required
  • Experience making fresh pastas and desserts is preferred
  • Pizza making experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred
  • Egg cooking experience is preferred
  • Sauté experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare a wide variety of food items, to standard, in a high-volume, fast-paced operation
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

 

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least 1-year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified.
