Overview

 This position is responsible for collecting and counting casino funds and to operate and maintain count room equipment.

Responsibilities

Count, strap, and wrap funds collected from slot machines
Count, strap, and wrap funds collected from table games
Adhere to Gaming Control Board gaming regulations and MICS
Collect and transport Validator cans
Maintain equipment for proper operations
Sort, organize, and count gaming chips
Assist in training new employees
Perform special projects as needed
Ability to problem solve
Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Qualifications


 High school diploma or equivalent
 Proficient computer skills – ability to learn new software
 Excellent communication skills and maintaining effective working relationships with supervisors, and staff
 Ability to follow departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures
 Ability to reconcile and perform general math calculations

 

 ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 Frequent bending, stooping, stepping, kneeling, reaching and twisting upper torso for prolonged periods
 Hearing within normal range
 Normal vision range and depth perception with the absence of color blindness
 Good hand – eye coordination and manual dexterity
 Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
 May require transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting (125 pounds)
 Normal range of mobility of neck/arms/hands
