  • Overview

    The Facility Supervisor should ensure all types of facility maintenance and construction are performed in a safe, timely and cost efficient manner. This shift for this Supervisor opening will be on an Swing shift and managing up to seven (7) team members on their shift. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • To provide primary and specialized support for all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and finished trades related systems through delegation of responsibilities to the crew and personal hands-on performance
    • Conduct routine and miscellaneous inspections regarding new installations, preventative maintenance, repairs of mechanical, electrical and plumbing nature
    • Design and develop support strategies to enhance performance, capability, reliability of specific systems, and assists the department team in the development of long-term capital planning
    • Conduct and review timely periodic Team Member performance appraisals
    • Monitor all scheduled and unscheduled overtime and emergency callbacks
    • Coordinate contractors and vendors. (schedules, jobs, etc)
    • Monitor parts and supplies inventory to maintain adequate supply of necessary parts while avoiding excess or obsolete inventory items

    Qualifications

    • Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.
    • Supervisory / Management experience required
    • Previous work experience in a Commercial or Hospitality field preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Journeyman level in mechanical, engineering or plumbing (MEP) trade or master in a finished trade
    • Fully competent in Microsoft Office
    • Must be highly skilled in the use of all hand and power tools related to facility based maintenance
    • Must have highly skilled working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry fields
    • Must be highly skilled with proper application and use of common and job related special tools and test equipment
    • Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
    • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with Team Member relations issues
    • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented
    • 4 years facilities maintenance
    • 1 year facilities leadership in hospitality or a related field
    • Able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License
    • Able to maintain a valid State-issued Driver's License and pass an MVR Background Check.
