The Poker Dealer is responsible for providing extraordinary service to both internal and external guests.  The Poker Dealer is also responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and courteous dealing service to players in accordance with standard procedures and maintaining the integrity of the game, as well as explaining aspects of Poker to players unfamiliar with the games.


  • Provide all guests with the "ultimate guest experience" with courteous, professional, and prompt service
  • Provide a positive and progressive work environment for all employees through positive interactions and reinforcement
  • Safeguards the assets of the company


  • Thorough understanding and working knowledge of all poker room promotions and payoffs
  • Monitor that all employees perform to the standards of service and guest hospitality and follow all policies and procedures that pertain to the poker department
  • Basic understanding of scheduling, payroll, time sheets, computers, and money handling
  • Knowledge of the Pennsylvania gaming regulations
  • Able to obtain Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board licensure
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods
  • Normal vision range and depth perception with the absence of color blindness
  • Normal range of hearing even in areas with high levels of background noise
  • Normal range of hand mobility and dexterity
  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols
  • Able to work in loud and smokey environments
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
