Produces high quality food in flavor and presentation;-Adheres to the specifications, standards and proper recipe production of high volume food items set forth by the Kitchen Manager



  • Maintains productions, temperature and waste charts
  • Ensures that all menu items are maintained and consistently stocked and rotated
  • Stores all foods at correct temperatures
  • Dates and labels all food items.
  • Uses knife skills to prepare raw ingredients
  • Utilizes ovens, slow cookers, grills, griddles, broilers, deep fryers, braisers, steam jacketed kettles, ranges, salamanders, steamers, electric slicers, knives, steam tables and other equipment for food preparation
  • Prepares hot and cold food items to according to specifications
  • Maintains consistency in food presentation and flavor
  • Utilizes cooking techniques that ensure consistent production results
  • Stocks production area for efficient daily operation
  • Assists Kitchen Manager in all areas of productions
  • Acts in a friendly and professional manner to guests and co workers
  • Maintains a clean, neat and sanitized work area
  • Sets up and stocks work station
  • Presents a professional, neat and clean appearance at all times
  • Any other assigned duties and responsibilities



·         Must be 18 years of age

·         High School degree or equivalent

·          Minimum 1 year experience in full service restaurant

·         Maintains Food Certification FSP membership

·         Food and Safety Requirements for Kitchen

·         Knowledge and use of all kitchen equipment

·         Able to follow verbal and written instructions

·         Able to communicate clearly and effectively

·         Demonstrated ability to work independently

·         Provide quality food within menu specifications

·         Pass random drug tests




·         Ability to work in small spaces-100%

·         Able to work under physical and stressful situations-25%

·         Able to work in a hot and noisy environment-100%

·         Able to stand unassisted for long periods of time-100%
