Overview

Assists the Casino Services Supervisor in assistanting in managing the entire Cage operation, scheduling and overtime management, compliance with internal controls and gaming regulations, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining a high level of training for the Casino Services team.

Ensures the timely collection, accounting, recording and safekeeping of funds. Ensures that cash, chips and check cashing transactions and procedures are properly enforced.  Maintains a superior level of guest service in all duties performed.

Responsibilities

 

  • Adhere strictly to all gaming regulations.
  • Supervises and train Casino Services team members.
  • Verify cash turn-ins from operating departments.
  • Verify various types of cash payouts.
  • Verify cashier’s banks.
  • Verify accountability to determine daily revenue.
  • Verify daily bank deposit on revenue.
  • Approve customer credit within prescribed limits.
  • Work all positions as needed.
  • Must be able to work any shift as business needs arise.
  • Understanding of all equipment.
  • Maintain accuracy of all transactions.
  • Team member scheduling.

 

Required Knowledge and Skills

 

  • Strong problem solving, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of Colorado gaming regulations and laws.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of casino services / finance experience.
  • Ten key and computer experience.
  • Light typing required.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Must know basic and intermediate math.
  • Must be familiar with casino services / finance operations.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working conditions with staff, other department personnel and customers.
