Overview

Coordinates all poker operations on assigned shift, responsible for the supervision of poker dealers, maintains two-way communication with subordinates to ensure awareness of new policies or procedures.  Maintains a high-degree of professionalism when dealing with subordinates and customers, administers policies and procedures in conformity with the State Gaming Commission and Ameristar Casino, Inc.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.
  • Train and mentor all Team Members to ensure service standards are met.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of the game supervised.
  • Ensure utilization reports are accurately completed at designated time.
  • Ensure compliance of company and departmental policies and procedures, Colorado Gaming Regulations and Internal controls.
  • Ensure proper inventory of cheques on poker to enable payouts to be made quickly and accurately.
  • Complete play evaluation sheet at specific levels of win or loss.
  • Communicate all information regarding section to incoming Floor Supervisor.
  • Provide recognition and improvement coaching’s for Team Members in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain equipment within section.
  • Ensure the integrity of games in assigned section. 

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Team Member and customer relations skills
  • Ability to work any shift or hours
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of Colorado gaming laws or experience with gaming laws and regulations
  • One year gaming leadership experience
  • Minimum of one year experience as a table games dealer
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent Team Member and customer relations skills
  • Ability to work any shift or hours
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License.
